Thank you for the kind words.  To clarify, we actually use a third-party system to identify bot clicks.  As you can tell, it does not catch 100% of them, but it is continually updating and tracking more with each update.  

We have discussed a methodology that would allow you to help identify bots and label specific IP addresses (as bots or known IPs).  These two pieces of functionality should make a huge step forward.

I have added both of these items to our list of product ideas.  It would be great if you could vote on them to help indicate your priority.
