Question Asked:

How do you use the filter feature Posted 7 years ago by in WideFile

I can't seem to figure out how to use the filter feature. I can type in a file name and it comes back empty.

This is the answer to the question:

Lisa,

You should be able to type in a file name or a piece of the name into the Filter box and see the results.  I did a bit of testing and found that some of my files were not searchable using the filter tool.  I'm guessing you're experiencing the same issue.

Can you share the name of  your file so we can make a note of it and add it to our todo list?  It appears that files with spaces in the name are currently causing issues.

Thanks,

Andy

Lisa,

I also noticed that the filter is case sensitive.  It should not be so we'll get that fixed as well.

Thanks!

Response by Lisa Smith: The case sensitivity is really what through me. Thanks for checking in on this .  Does the search accept wild cards?

To answer your question, no, wild cards are not accepted.
