Question Asked:

Where do I get the shortened code to copy? Posted last year by Joan A. Detlefsen in BudURL.Pro

I got my account.  I got my QR code for my site.

Now I am confused about a shortened link I might want to put into a post or tweet.  I cannot find either a plug-in or an app called tweetie, or tweetie2 either. ?

Thanks.

If you are looking to post your link to your Twitter account, you can do so from the Twitter tab in the BudURL.Pro product itself. Click on the tab an you will be prompted to authorize your Twitter account.

If you are looking for a third-party app to use, there are many that will alow you to post with your custom domain. For example, TweetDeck is one we recommend and will allow you to use your custom domain.

Here are instructions to use:

Are you saying I can only use the pro account for twitter?  This is just for twitter and QR codes.  That doesn't make sense.  Please make sense out of this for me.

Joan, you don't have to use Pro if you want to use Twitter. Sorry for the confusion. You can post your links within Twitter.com yourself if you wish or use any of the handful of tools available that work with Twitter.
